Captain Joe has ten years experience taking snorkelers and scuba divers around Hawaiian waters. Captain Joe is an experienced boat captain and has had the opportunity to drive many types of vessels in his life. The ocean is his home and his customers benefit from his vast knowledge of marine mammals and Hawaiian fish species. Just ask him a marine question and be prepared for an animated answer with maybe a corny joke thrown in for measure.
Captain Joe is an avid snorkeler and trained diver.
His life long passion for the ocean and all the creatures found in the sea will provide you and your family with many fun memories for your experience on the Na Ka Oi.
The Crew: Maui Snorkel Charters Crew members are water enthusiasts with a wide array of knowledge and experience that makes them key to all of our excursions. Focused on safety and fun, they are happy to snorkel and whale watch along side of you and point out many things you may otherwise miss. Often on snorkeling trips they will dive down below and bring up an octopus to hold, or show you a gorgeous pencil urchin. No Ka Oi crew members are eager to answer your questions about fish and wildlife and put the Aloha in every adventure.
